Inspired by the vibrant New York City boogaloo movement of the 1960s, our restaurant celebrates the fusion of African American R&B, soul, and Latin rhythms like mambo and son montuno. Just like the music, our menu is a joyful mix of bold dishes with Caribbean and Latin influences — served in a space alive with rhythm, color, and good energy. About the Owners
Originally established in 1994, Boogaloos was born from the spirit of a San Francisco classic, Spaghetti Western. In April 2025, Antonio Luna and Karla took the reins with a vision to breathe new life into the beloved neighborhood spot. While introducing a fresh aesthetic and updated touches, they remain committed to honoring the history, culture, and community roots that have defined Boogaloos from the start.
